Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to artists, bands, and their authorised representatives (“you” / “the Artist”) who purchase promotional services on [ArtistHouse], operated by [Dean Benzaken], an individual based in [London, England] (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By submitting your details and making payment, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services We Provide
- We create and host an artist profile on ArtistHouse using the information, links, biography, and promotional image(s) you provide.
- Profiles are displayed publicly to help music fans and industry professionals discover new artists.
- Any future updates, corrections, or removals can be requested by contacting us at [hello@artisthouse.io].
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old (or have consent from a parent/guardian if under 18) to purchase services.
- By submitting materials, you confirm you are the artist or an authorised representative of the artist.
3. Payments
- Fees and payment terms are displayed at the point of purchase.
- Payments are processed securely through third-party providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal). We do not store your payment card details.
- Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by UK law.
4. Artist Content & Rights
- You retain full ownership of the content you provide (bios, photos, music links, artwork, etc.).
- By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and promote that content on ArtistHouse and in related marketing.
- You confirm that:
- You own or have permission to use the content you submit.
- Your content does not infringe copyright, trademarks, or other rights.
- Your content is lawful and does not include offensive, defamatory, or discriminatory material.
5. Our Rights
- We may refuse, edit, or remove content that breaches these Terms or is the subject of a valid complaint.
- We may make design, layout, or functional changes to ArtistHouse at any time.
6. Termination, Removal & Refunds
- You may request removal of your profile at any time by contacting us at [hello@artisthouse.io].
- If you request removal within 14 days of purchase and we have not yet created or published your profile, you may be entitled to a full refund under UK consumer law.
- Once we begin creating or publishing your profile, you acknowledge that the service has started and you waive your right to a refund.
- We may remove your profile without refund if:
- you breach these Terms,
- your content is unlawful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights, or
- we receive a valid legal or regulatory request to remove it.
7. Liability
- ArtistHouse is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee that promotion on ArtistHouse will result in streams, sales, bookings, or industry opportunities.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the total amount you have paid us for services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to any claim.
- We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party services (e.g. Spotify, Apple Music, Instagram, TikTok, SoundCloud, YouTube).
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website with a new “Last updated” date.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
